The 200C Off Track Under Cutter provides the railroad industry with an innovative approach to railroad ballast Under Cutting. Components

A 141 horsepower 20 metric ton (43,000 lb) Deere Model 200CLC excavator is modified with a special hydraulic valve package to operate the attachments.  Bucket Coupler is added for easy changing of attachments.   An Ergonomic cab that brings a comfortable and safe work station for the operator. The cab includes a automatic blend-air climate system that maintains the exact temperature you want using heater/defrosters and air conditioning, a fully adjustable seat with lumbar support, cup holder, 12 volt cell phone jack are just some of the cabs convinces.   Controls that are easy to reach and easy to move for boom and arm functions lever efforts have been reduced up to 10%   Hydraulic powered under cutter head with tilt, pitch, and rotation for ballast cleanout is added, providing cutting rates up to 3 foot per minute. 	The process works best when a second excavator is used to do the site prep work and run the tamper head. This unit can be a 120C, 160C or 200C model Deere excavator A third machine such as a Deere  3 yd loader is helpful for the ballast replacement
